Empowering Our Campus with Access to Essential Resources and Support
The Laker Union Pantry was created in response to a growing need on our campus. Food insecurity is a reality that many students face, often forcing them to make difficult choices between essentials like food, hygiene products, and school supplies. What started as a small initiative with limited stock has grown into a vital resource, thanks to the dedication of volunteers, generous donations, and grants.
Our pantry provides free, essential food and hygiene products, ensuring that students can focus on their education without the stress of wondering where their next meal will come from. But beyond just meeting basic needs, it represents something bigger- it fosters a sense of care, dignity, and community on our campus.

Support our Pantry!
There are many ways to support and make a meaningful impact in our community.
1) Use It
The first and most important way to support the pantry is to use it. The pantry exists for you. After your visit, consider leaving a review or sharing your experience: this helps us demonstrate our impact to grant providers and secure continued funding to serve even more students.
2) Support a Meal
If you would like to contribute financially, you can support programs like CompMyMeal, which helps students access meals when they need them most, or purchase items for the pantry via our Amazon wishlist.
3) Give What You Can
You can also support the pantry by donating items in person. Non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other essentials can be dropped off at WB 323 during our operating hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM).
4) Make Time to Help
If you’re interested in giving your time, we welcome volunteers. To get involved, please reach out:
